FL Studio Skin: Colored Numeric Knobs

Sometimes it’s tough to see those tiny little knobs in FL Studio so I made these knobs. They display numbers and are also color coded so you can see the exact values very easily. The two different ways of expressing the information also help reinforce the values so they’re easy to remember if you’re messing around with different stuff.

All the artwork is based off of existing FL Studio elements so it matches well enough. the color scheme is also very similar to the newer FLS plugs.

Glad to have found this once again, thanks to your forum post recently. I’ve always appreciated this work and type of option for the DAW. To me it was/is a great idea for an option. Plus I enjoy how it is compatible with any forthcoming version currently in this history. :) Good Cheers to you :)

This is a simple skin. It’s useful and it looks nice. Five stars!

Is it possible to keep the knobs on some specific places, and use these for the rest of the program?

Wow, how you add the values on the mixer? they really works (change) when you move the fader? Im very amazed because image line says than its something impossible to do because his coded and bla bla and you do it!… i hope you can explainme how you do it im very interested…

As Temptation has said, how did you do this?
I’m curious as well, reading other that have tried your skin that the numbers are not accurate to the actual DB readings of the tracks themselves or is this incorrect?

MrChr said …”Far away from accurate, the mixer’s EQ frequency has a range of 10hz to 16000hz and the led numbers 0-99, 2 different ranges, one changes linearly the other exponentially.”….

In a post on the image line forums linked here:

is there a way to match the number system in your skin to make the level (number-Hz) accurate at all?

This is a “hack”. He simply replaced the knob animation by a counter that goes from 00 to 99.

It’s not really a hack either, just a simple graphic replacement

Amazing blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it
from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog jump out.
Please let me know where you got your theme. Thank you
